Pat has over fifteen years experience within the law enforcement
arena. Starting out within a local Trading Standards Department,
he went onto establish the UK's first computer forensic facility
dedicated to assisting the consumer protection profession. A secondment
to the City of London Police Fraud Squad investigating a national
counterfeit software case led to him receiving a commendation.
Pat later moved to the Office of Fair Trading, setting up a new
computer forensics unit within the Competition Enforcement Team.
Investigating illegal price fixing, bid rigging and market sharing,
Pat gained valuable experience in dealing with large corporate
IT networks. 2005 saw a move to an international firm of Risk Consultants,
working both in support of the law enforcement community and assisting
clients with internal investigations.
Nigel has 27 year's experience within law enforcement and in 2000
was seconded to the Trading Standards South East Computer Forensic
Facilty. He is a CIFA Certified Forensic Investigation Analyst
and has deep experience both within the criminal investigation
process and computer forensic techniques.
